Our story

Our journey began long before the academy existed — back when Amy started her journey as a self‑employed nail technician, working from home while raising three growing boys. She built her beauty business the same way many women do: with determination, late nights, and a desire to create a career that allowed her to be present for her family. Becoming a nail tech gave her freedom, flexibility, and a sense of purpose. It allowed her to work on her terms, in an industry she loved, without sacrificing the moments that mattered most.

Over the years, she built a loyal client base and became known for high‑quality service, attention to detail, and genuine care for the people who sat at her table. And as her business grew, so did something else — a desire to help others experience the same independence, confidence, and fulfilment that beauty brought into her life.

That’s why the Minnieco Nail & Beauty Academy and retail store was born.

Today, our mission is simple: to empower others to build careers they love, with integrity, confidence, and real‑world skill. We believe in community over competition, in lifting others up, and in creating a space where every student and customer feels supported, included, and valued.

Our training is intentionally personal. We specialise in 1‑to‑1 and small‑group, face‑to‑face tuition because we know that true confidence comes from hands‑on learning, tailored guidance, and real human connection. We will never offer virtual training until we are certain it meets the same high standards — because we are not here to take people’s money; we are here to change their future.

The same values guide our product range. Every item we offer has been carefully chosen, tested, and used by us.
